COVID testing, vaccination offered at local health department

Tennessee Department of Health processed 5,394,058 COVID-19 tests in 2021, according to a news release dated Wednesday, Dec. 22. There were 762,964 total cases reported in Tennessee during 2021, and 8,280,246 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were distributed.
Doctors_stethoscope_1Bedford County Health Department, which is part of the state health department, not county government, continues to offer both COVID testing and COVID vaccinations at its location on Dover Street. If you have questions, call 931-684-3426.

  • Testing is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. 
  • Vaccinations are offered Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
