The AEMT is expected to provide courteous medical care for all type of patients with unlimited diseases, injuries, and personalities. The difficult physical demands include: heavy lifting, crawling, kneeling, and walking long distances. The AEMT will operate in a range of environments from the back of an ambulance to rough terrain and in all types of weather. All patient care must adhere to the standards set forth by the State of Tennessee and Bedford County EMS. The AEMT may be assigned to other specific administrative duties or tasks as needed.
